About Seanra Kalil
Seanra attended the Cook County Physician Assistant Program, the first PA program in Illinois. Since graduating in 2002, she has worked in several medical specialties, including gastroenterology, otolaryngology, allergy & immunology, and orthopedics. She is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed in Illinois. Seanra is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA). For the last 3 years, Seanra has enjoyed clinical research, serving as an investigator for numerous trials focusing primarily on MDD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and Tourette syndrome. Prior to becoming a PA, Seanra worked as an art therapist. She received a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago/Rush University. While working with brain and spinal cord injury patients, she decided to further her education in healthcare and went back to school to become a physician assistant. In her free time, Seanra still loves doing art, mostly graphic design and photography. She lives in Winnetka with her husband and two teenage boys and designed their
