Wired Differently: Adult ADHD Skills Group

Less overwhelm. More structure. Better follow-through.

An 8-week CBT-based skills group for adults with ADHD, held online on Thursday afternoons. Open to adults in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Arizona. 25 dollars per session, self-pay.

Space is limited. Registration closes when the group fills.

You Know What You Need to Do. Doing It Is the Problem.

If ADHD is making daily life harder than it should be, you are not disorganized or lazy. The skills that come automatically to other people have to be built deliberately, and that is what this group is for.

Starting tasks feels impossible until it is urgent

Time gets away from you no matter how you plan

Everything feels equally urgent, so nothing gets ranked

Projects get started with energy and stall out halfway

Your system works for a week and then falls apart

You are tired of feeling behind on things that seem simple

Eight Weeks of Practical Skills

The group is built on cognitive behavioral therapy approaches adapted for ADHD. Each week covers a specific skill you can put to use right away.

Understanding your ADHD

How ADHD actually affects attention, motivation, and follow-through, and why willpower strategies tend not to hold.

Structure that sticks

Building organization and planning systems designed around how your attention works rather than against it.

Getting started and finishing

Task initiation, prioritizing when everything feels urgent, managing distraction, and closing the loop on what you begin.

You will also be in a room with other adults working on the same things. For many people that turns out to matter as much as the skills.
