Stephen Kucharski has an extensive medical background, starting with 13 years of Sleep Technician experience serving patients in both hospital-based and private sleep clinics. Building on his background in sleep medicine, he studied EEG and worked in hospital settings with an emphasis on the ICU. The effects of an injury forced a change of careers to IT. Starting at the help desk, he quickly rose to Supervisor in charge of customer relations. Realizing his passion was healthcare he returned to the field with Ray of Hope in 2025 focusing on EEG and TMS Treatments.

Diagnosed with bone cancer osteosarcoma in 1991, Stephen spent much of 1991-1992 as an inpatient receiving chemotherapy, multiple surgeries and limb salvage surgery. With his extensive background as a patient, he carries an understanding and caring attitude in what it’s like to face multiple complex health problems while striving to give his patients a comfortable and professional experience at A Ray of Hope.
