Medication is not the right answer for everyone, but for many people it is a meaningful part of feeling better. When it is a good fit, having a provider who specializes in psychiatric prescribing makes all the difference.

At A Ray of Hope, medication management is a thoughtful, collaborative process. We take the time to understand your full picture and build a plan around your needs, your history, and your goals.

What Medication Management Is

Medication management is more than writing a prescription. It is an ongoing partnership in which your provider evaluates your symptoms, recommends treatment when appropriate, monitors how you respond, and adjusts along the way.

Psychiatric prescribing takes different training and experience than general primary care. Our psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants bring focused expertise to getting your treatment right and keeping it that way.

Conditions We Support

Our providers offer medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions, including:

Depression
Anxiety disorders
ADHD
OCD
Bipolar disorder
PTSD and mood disorders

If you are not sure whether medication is right for you, we can help you weigh your options.

How It Works

Evaluation
We review your symptoms, history, and any treatments you have tried before, and talk through your goals.
A Plan Built for You
If medication makes sense, we recommend an approach and explain what to expect, answering your questions along the way.
Ongoing Follow-Up
Regular check-ins let us monitor your progress, make adjustments, and respond to anything new that comes up.

Care That Works Together

Medication often works best alongside other support. Many of our patients combine it with therapy or other treatments, and having everything under one roof keeps that care connected.

Because we bring neurology, psychiatry, and therapy together in one practice, your prescribing provider can coordinate directly with the rest of your care team when it helps. In-person and telehealth visits are available for eligible patients.
